Megan Touchette, PhD

Vice President of Research and Development
Using her 15 years of biomedical research and assay development experience, Megan and her team continue to optimize, validate, and expand LIV Process’ breakthrough technology. Megan earned a BS in Chemistry from Clarkson University, a PhD in Chemistry from Stony Brook University, and was a postdoctoral fellow under Dr. Aimee Shen at Tufts University School of Medicine, where she studied C. difficile spores. As an infectious disease researcher, Megan’s PhD and postdoc projects worked to understand bacterial pathways critical for the pathogens she studied to cause human disease. Prior to LIV Process, Megan also worked as a senior scientist at Nova Biomedical where she developed several assays used in medical devices that help diagnose and therefore treat patients.
